Just as Sui DeFi regained discussion due to Walrus's high annual subsidies, the lending protocol within the ecosystem has fallen into a serious internal strife. NAVI Protocol founder Elliscopef is accused of using fake accounts to continuously release FUD messages about the competing product Scallop in the Sui Chinese community. Scallop founder Chris directly pointed out that the small account spreading FUD messages is Elliscopef himself, and he expressed his dissatisfaction, stating that while both are competing lending protocols, SuiLend is a builder on Sui, while NAVI is a tumor on Sui. Chain News has sought confirmation from NAVI, and the official response is currently unavailable.

NAVI founder uses small account FUD competitors? Scallop denounces NAVI as a SUI tumor.

Chat records show that a user named T is constantly complaining about Scallop in the Sui Chinese community, implying that the official team is about to dump it. They even FUD Scallop, stating that the protocol has already changed hands.

T is also in the Suinami Riders group, which is the earliest developer group for Sui. Further review of the records reveals that it was Elliscopef who brought T into the Suinami Riders group, and this evidence seems to indicate a significant level of interaction between Elliscopef and T. Next, T brought Rekkles J from the NAVI team into the group, and chat records also show that T had shared a NAVI post with Sui co-founder Adeniyi in the group.

The NAVI team does not recognize T as a team member.

The above evidence shows the close relationship between T and the NAVI team. The founder of Scallop also sought an explanation from Elliscopef on Twitter, but it seems he has already been blocked by Elliscopef. The leaked chat records also show that the NAVI team is trying to distance itself from T.
