The Liberal Democratic Party's Policy Research Council Digital Society Promotion Headquarters (Chairperson: Member of Parliament Takuya Hirai) announced "Digital Nippon 2025" on May 16. The subtitle proclaims, ~ "To the Next 100 Years", "Digital Policy 2.0" Begins ~.

At the outset, Hirai, the first Digital Minister and head of the party's Digital Society Promotion Headquarters, explained that this was compiled based on "60 meetings and hearings from 80 companies," stating that he wants to significantly expand the powers of the Digital Agency, and noted that the current efforts of the Digital Agency have resulted in a strict paper.

Continuing, Secretary-General Hidetaka Suzuki explained the outline of "Digital Nippon 2025". He mentioned that the realization of Digital Agency 2.0 aimed at Digital Policy 2.0 includes allocating human and financial resources to the Digital Agency in a manner suitable for "competing with the world".

After that, the main committee members in charge of each field provided explanations. Regarding Web3, it seems that Deputy Chair Mori Shita Chisato will explain in place of the main committee member Akihisa Shiozaki.
