AAVE faces controversy over WLFI token allocation, price temporarily falls over 5%.
On August 23, the suspected WLFI Wallet team member posted to deny the news related to the proposal "Aave will receive 7% of the total WLFI Tokens." As a result, AAVE fell from a high of $385.99 to $365, with a short-term drop of over 5%.
The crypto KOL expressed their views on this event, stating, "Previously, I was also convinced that Aave had the 7% and 20% protocol yield to go long on AAVE, but in the weeks leading up to the WLFI announcement, I observed the weakness of AAVE/ETH and saw Aave's lagging growth. Rumors suggest that if WLFI does not fork, they do not intend to provide AAVE with the 7% coin. It shouldn't be surprising as there are precedents; SPK defaulted on a 10% yield and ended up giving only 1%, ultimately fading away. WLFI made sweet promises during the public offering, claiming full unlock, but now it has changed to partial unlock. AAVE is now a project that has been deceived multiple times. If there is a default, we should support AAVE in suing WLFI."
Currently, there are no public channels to verify the specific identity information of the relevant personnel. Investors should exercise caution and pay attention to asset protection.
