[Chain News] PANews reports that US President Trump stated that during a meeting at the White House, he discussed security guarantees for Ukraine with European leaders, which would be provided by European countries in coordination with the US. Trump mentioned that after the meeting, he spoke with Putin and began arranging a meeting between Putin and Zelensky, with the location to be determined. Following this meeting, there will be a trilateral talk, which includes the presidents of Russia and Ukraine along with himself. Vice President Pence, Secretary of State Rubio, and Special Envoy Vitkov are coordinating with Russia and Ukraine. Sources say the US hopes to facilitate a meeting between Putin and Zelensky by the end of August. German Chancellor Merz stated that the meeting will take place within two weeks.
